tavi to cover the couture shows?

according to fashionista, little tavi gevinson is headed to paris to cover the couture shows for POP. now, i'm a tavi fan, but even i think it's a little ridiculous to send a child to cover couture. sure, her take on things is unique, and sure, she's going to make a great editor someday, but does anyone feel like tavi is fashion's version of miley cyrus, minus the sexualized part? tavi's growing up way too fast, partying with erin wasson and alex wang at gas stations, sitting front row at fashion week...when what she should be doing is being a kid - playing dress up with her salvation army finds, recreating runway looks with her thrift store finds, hell, studying for her bat mitzvah (you KNOW with a last name like gevinson she's got to be a chosen one). i have to wonder if this is really what tavi wanted when she started her blog.
