i've been a fan of aussie eco-friendly label sosume (pronounced so sue me) for quite some time. the line's slinky basics are like alex wang, but good for the earth. like many great labels, it's only available online to australia and new zealand. i hate when that happens! i would love to be able to shop online at H&M, not to mention gina tricot - but all these places are only available in other countries. suppose i need to plan a trip abroad. has anyone ever bought a piece from sosume?

fashion week palate

just a preview of items to be worn during fashion week - note: this season, i'm keeping my feet comfy in a variety of fun brogues, paired with my black and brown frye harness boots, and some fun flats peppered in. my heels might get some love, but only at the parties. no more standing around in heels for 10 hours for me.

why is it that nobody ever wears toni maticevski on the red carpet? his spring 2010 show was MADE for red carpet walkage. see examples below. can't you see january jones in that baby?

or this one - you KNOW kate hudson could pull it off. and if she didn't like it, marion cotillard could rock it as well. both of the women have been favoring their winter whites on the red carpet..

this one would do as well. i wish anne hathaway was nominated this year; i'd love to see her in this dress.
