when i was little, one of my favorite films was BBC's "the snow queen" - most people have never seen it, but it remains one of my favorite stories. it's a tale of good triumphing over evil, and proof that true friendship can whether almost any storm. not to imply that this unnamed soul, pictured above, is a snow queen - i'm sure she's lovely. but for some reason, her beauty reminds me of my favorite wintertime film.
