for only 400 square feet, this chelsea studio, rented and then purchased by jay, packs a big punch. the whitewashed walls do wonders in opening up the space.the shelving unit that separates the bedroom area from the rest of the space is genius - the bottom boxes are filled in for storage with small drawers while the top remains open to let light through and make the space feel larger. i'm especially fond of the living room, which is at once masculine and cozy. the amazing thing about the space is that although it's tiny, it looks large! you could have multiple people over in that living room and not feel crowded at all! the kitchen is extremely well stocked for such a small space - and the finishes are beautiful. ahh, LOVE IT. jay's place is proof that you can make a gorgeous something out of a very small nothing.
